About Me
- Karen Schnuell-Ruth, M.Ed.
- I have degrees from Concordia University and Madonna University. My next degree is in the works and I have supplemented with coursework from the University of Michigan and Wayne State. Currently I am working on a project that integrates technology and the instruction of reading at the middle school level. In the summer I educate children about herbs and plants at the Henry Ford-Greenfield Village.

I think the idea of a classroom blog offers endless possiblilites for the teacher. Uploading images and videos for students and parents to view at home can enhance learning and understanding of new concepts in math, science and social studies. Displaying students' creative writing can be a real motivator as well.

I want to share information about authors with my students such as the Today show interview by Laura Bush with R.L.Stine.. thank you to those who are helping me to be a better teacher. I can see this working well to teach a community.
